Story Courtesy of Kent State Sports Information KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The No. 13 Kent State University women's golf team won its second-straight tournament of the 2018-19 season on Tuesday with a five-stroke victory at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at the par-71, 5,897-yard long course at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn. The win marks the second time the Flashes have won at the Mercedes-Benz in the 22 seasons the tournament has been played. Kent State previously took home the team title back in 2015. Kent State (303-284-283/870) finished at 18-over par, five shots ahead of second-place Middle Tennessee (294-297-284/875), which came in at 23-over par.
