Eastern Michigan's Preston Hutchinson, Football - Quarterback (Sophomore, 3.14, General Business)
In his first collegiate start, sophomore quarterback Preston Hutchinson led the Eastern Michigan football team to its first Mid-American Conference win of the season, as it defeated in-state rival Western Michigan University, 34-27, Oct. 19. Hutchison, stepping in for the injured Mike Glass III, accounted for four EMU touchdowns in the game, completing 31-of-36 passes, for 357 yards in the air, and adding nine yards on the ground, including his first-career rushing touchdown.
