Junior guard Cece Hooks tied a single-game school record with 41 points at Akron on Saturday. Hooks was 17-of-26 overall and 3-of-5 from the three point line while tying Marlene Stollings, who set the record in 1997. At Akron, Hooks added five rebounds, four steals and two assists. Hooks averaged 30.5 points per game on the week as she had 20 in Ohio's win over Toledo. Hooks added seven boards and four steals against the Rockets.
