Freshman Joey Garberick took home top billing in the 100 breaststroke (56.53), 200 breaststroke (2:09.49) and 200 IM (1:58.97) in last Friday’s 2020-21 season opener versus Eastern Illinois. In fact, in his first collegiate meet the swimmer from Middlebury, Indiana, set a Lewellen Aquatic Center record in his first individual race; the 100 breaststroke.
