FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Kent State Golden Flashes have claimed the 2021 Mid-American Conference Men's Golf Championship. The title marks the 27th in program history.
The Golden Flashes finished the third round Championship at Sycamore Hills Golf Club with a score of 910 (+46). Northern Illinois finished in second place (923), while Ball State (927), Miami (929) and Eastern Michigan (934) rounded out the Top-5.
Kent State also took individual medalist honors, with Chris Vandette finishing first overall. Over three rounds, the senior finished at +10 (75-75-76 = 226).
