NEW YORK -- Western Michigan offensive lineman Jacob Gideon was named to the 2024 Rimington Trophy Watch List, as announced today. The award is presented annually to the most outstanding center in college football.
This is the third-straight season Gideon has been named to the award's preseason watch. Additionally, this is Gideon's second watch list nod for Gideon as he landed on the Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List on July 30.
The Union, Ky., native has helped the Broncos produce 1,000-yard rushers in two of the past three seasons.
Gideon started every game in 2023 and earned First Team All-MAC honors.
