NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced Wednesday the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars. Eight student-athletes from the Mid-American Conference were selected to receive the honor. In total, 212 golfers were honored from the Division I level. To be eligible, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, be a junior or senior academically, participate in 50-percent of this team's season, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, and have a stroke-average under 76.0. Student-athletes must also be in god standing at their college or university and be of high moral character.
