Madelyn Gatrall, Redshirt-Senior, Akron
Madelyn Gatrall claimed first in six events for the Akron swimming and diving, propelling the Zips to a first-place finish at the Zips Classic. Gatrall claimed individual gold medals in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 53.49 and 1:57.14, respectively. Furthermore, she won the 100 back by 1.67 seconds and the 200 back by 4.57 seconds. In addition, Gatrall led off the 400-yard medley relay with a 53.53 time as the Zips cruised to a 3:37.41 time for gold. She was also the lead leg of the 200-yard medley relay, swimming 25.
