The Central Michigan women’s basketball team looked like a much different basketball team in its home opener on Friday. That’s a good thing. After starting the season with a 107-47 loss to No.1-ranked Notre Dame, the Chippewas downed Furman, 81-71, in the second round of the Preseason WNIT at McGuirk Arena behind a career-high 26 points from senior forward Jewel Cotton.
