Well, it was another game where Eastern Michigan came close but couldn’t quite get over the hump. The Eagles fell to the Broncos by a final score of 27-24 at Waldo Stadium. Eastern Michigan even had a brief lead.
The scoring started on a 14 yard run by Levante Bellamy fairly early in the first quarter. A sixteen yard pass from Tyler Wiegers to Gunnar Oakes would knot up the score early in the second quarter. The Broncos would regain the lead after the ball was punched into the endzone by Jamauri Bogan.
