Cleveland, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team led 19-15 after one quarter and never trailed after that, defeating Buffalo 80-67 to return to the Mid-American Conference Championship Game for the first time since 2011. Elissa Brett had 20 points and 13 rebounds to help the top-seeded Falcons defeat the defending MAC Tournament champion Bulls.

Bowling Green made 14-of-29 three-pointers and connected on at least three from long range in each quarter. Madisen Parker made four of those three-pointers on just six attempts off the bench for a total of 12 points.
