MAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week NIU central midfielder Irvin Dominguez recorded two assists as the Huskies swept a pair of matches against UIC and Eastern Illinois last week. In the first match of the week against the Flames, Dominguez played a splitting ball through the UIC defense to Jan Maertins for the lone goal of the game as the Huskies claimed a 1-0 victory. Two days later, Dominguez recorded his second assist of the week as he played a cross from Nick Markanich for NIU’s second goal of the game in a 2-0 victory over Eastern Illinois.
