BRYAN, Texas – Kent State women's golf wrapped up the opening round of NCAA Regionals on Thursday with a 298, 10-over performance.
The Golden Flashes are tied for 12th place with Tulane. Georgia leads the event at 4-under par while Arizona is close behind at 3-under.
Amira Alexander started the event with an even round of par 72 to be tied for 20th position. Michaela Finn was 2-over to be tied for 36th. Wad Phaewchimplee is close behind after shooting 2-over to be in 46th place. Rounding out the lineup, Josée Doyon shot 5-over while Taylor Kim was 7-over in the tournament's first round of competition.
