PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Central Michigan field hockey team scored first, but could not maintain the lead on Monday as it fell to La Salle, 3-1, to conclude its weekend series with the Explorers.
The Chippewas slipped to 1-3. LaSalle is 3-0.
"It was a better first half than it was (Sunday)," said CMU coach Catherine Ostoich. "We came out and followed the game plan a lot better in the first half.
