ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Central Michigan Chippewas dropped a 48-11 decision to San Diego State in the 2019 New Mexico Bowl on Saturday afternoon. The Chippewas could only muster a 33-yard field goal by Ryan Tice in the first quarter for all of the Central Michigan scoring in the first half. Central Michigan added a 66-yard touchdown run by Kobe Lewis and a two point conversion in the third quarter.
