Story courtesy of CMU Sports Information Notre Dame touched up Central Michigan pitching for 14 hits including four home runs on Friday in handing the Chippewas a 10-0 loss in the opener of an NCAA Tournament Regional at the Fighting Irish's Frank Eck Baseball Stadium. The Chippewas (40-17) will play an elimination game on Saturday (noon, ESPN3) against either UConn or Michigan. The Huskies (33-17) and Wolverines (27-17) are scheduled to play on Friday night.
