MUNCIE, Ind -- Chase Sebby has earned another accolade in his decorated Ball State baseball career, earning first team CoSIDA Academic All-American honors. He's the 6th Ball State baseball player to earn this honor.
"Chase represents the best of collegiate athletics. He is a leader, an excellent player and an outstanding student," head coach Rich Maloney said. "Being recognized as an Academic All-American is a tremendous accomplishment only a select few achieve."
Sebby, from Huntington Beach, Calif., was the 2019 MAC Defensive Player of the Year and a second team all-conference pick that year as Ball State went 38-19 and 20-5 in conference play.
