AVON, Ohio -- No. 6 Central Michigan used a dominating pitching performance by starting pitcher Nick Deeg as the Chippewas defeated No. 2 Ball State, 4-0, on Thursday morning at the MAC Baseball Tournament at All Pro Freight Stadium. Deeg earned the complete game victory and allowed only four hits.
With the win, Central Michigan advances to play the winner of No. 3 Miami and No. 7 Western Michigan on Friday, May 27 at 1:00 pm ET.
