Offensive Player of the Week
Audrey Whiteside, Central Michigan
Sophomore Audrey Whiteside, in just her second career start, was a difference maker for Central Michigan in its 11-10 season-opening win over BIG EAST foe Marquette. Whiteside totaled a career-high five points on the day, scoring a game-best four goals and adding an assist. She broke a 2-2 tie with back-to-back goals in the first half. Her third goal would come just two seconds before halftime, pulling the Chippewas to within one of the Golden Eagles at 6-5 heading into the break.
