The Central Michigan baseball team will take on the Fighting Irish on Friday (1 p.m.) in the opener of the regional at Notre Dame's Frank Eck Baseball Stadium. The game will be televised by ESPN3.
Michigan and UConn are the other two teams in the double-elimination regional. The regional winner advances to the best-of-3 super regional the following weekend against the winner of the Starkville, Miss.
