KENT, Ohio- With a final score of 114.5, The Central Michigan Chippewas captured the 2019 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship for their first title since 2004.

After a very strong showing on Friday, The Chippewas broke into the MAC record books early on Satuday when CMU's Gabriella Beauvais posted a 53.55 in the 400m to set a new MAC Championship Meet Record and take the 2019 title. Beauvais was named Most Outstanding Track Performer for the two-day Championship.

2019 Most Outstanding Field Performer Bowling Green's Aliyah Gustafson, continued to dominate the trowing events as she earned a clean sweep with a 17.
