Recap courtesy of WMU Sports Information LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Western Michigan’s magical postseason ride ended on Saturday afternoon, as Wright State’s offense proved to be too much, winning 10-3. The Broncos’ playing in their first NCAA Regional since 1989, end the year at 22-34. Wright State was able to score early off Broncos ace Keegan Akin who was making his first start since coming off short rest in the MAC Championship game last week. The Raiders were able to elevate Akin’s pitch count in the first and score two on a ball that went up the middle thanks to heads up base running by Peyton Burdick.
