For the third-straight offseason, Bowling Green’s starting quarterback will transfer.
Junior quarterback Grant Loy announced his entrance into the transfer portal on Twitter at 12:03 p.m. ET on Monday, thanking the University, Falcon fans, and stating his intent to “explore other options in order to pursue education and football dreams.”
Loy appeared in all 12 Bowling Green games this season and started in each of the final eight. He threw for 1,137 yards, six touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in his first season as a primary starter. Additionally, Loy contributed 427 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 100 attempts.
