Bowling Green announced Wednesday afternoon that the program will hire Scot Loeffler as the program’s next head coach.
Loeffler served as the Boston College offensive coordinator each of the past three seasons, leading the Eagles’ offense to 32.0 points per game (42nd in FBS) and 404 yards per game (66th) in 2018. The former Michigan quarterback from 1993-96 has dabbled in a myriad of assistant coach positions since kicking off his career as a graduate assistant for the Wolverines in the late 1990s.
Loeffler has experience in the MAC, serving as Central Michigan’s quarterbacks coach from 2000-01.
