Blake Hamilton has finally found a professional basketball home in Europe after going undrafted in this year’s NBA Draft.
BK Ventspils, a club in the Latvian Basketball League, confirmed the signing on its team website early Monday. BK Ventspils also particilates in the Baltic Basketball League and the Champions League.
Hamilton, a California native, was an all-Mid-American Conference third teamer in 2015-2016 and earned a spot on the all-MAC second team in the 2016-2017 season. Hamilton became the 19th player in program history to surpass 1,000 points in his final game with the Bulls against eventual MAC champion Kent State.
