BOSTON, Mass. – Justin Turner, a redshirt-sophomore guard on the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team, was named the Lou Henson Award Player of the Week for his efforts in BGSU's 2-0 week. The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in Division I college basketball.
Turner, also named the MAC East Player of the Week, averaged 25.0 points and 4.5 assists last week as the Falcons earned wins over Ohio (Jan. 8) and Central Michigan (Jan. 12). Turner shot 48.5 percent (17-of-35) from the field, including a 41.6 percent (5-of-12) clip from downtown.
