MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State women's tennis senior Carmen Blanco earned a spot on the 2016-17 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team. The Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
Named to the team for District 5, Blanco also recently earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors. She will graduate this summer with a degree in accounting with a 3.853 grade-point average. The at-large program includes student-athletes from the following women's sports -- beach volleyball, bowling, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, rowing, skiing, swimming, tennis and water polo.
