Your Ball State University Basketball Cardinals are back in the postseason conversation for the first time since 2002. Head coach James Whitford leads the Cards to postseason play in his third season in charge on the strength of a 19-13 overall record.
The schedule is yet to be finalized but we do know that the Cardinals will play a first round game on the road next week. The first round will be played March 14th-16th. 32 teams participate in the CIT, and there is no predetermined bracket for the event.
