OXFORD, Ohio -- The #6 seeded Appalaachian State field hockey team defeated #7 Central Michigan 5-2 in the preliminary game of the 2018 MAC Field Hockey Tournament on Wednesday. The Mountaineers neeted three second half goals in rout to their first round victory.
