Sharrits finished the match with 23 total digs, giving her 2,020 for her career. In the first match, Akron served undefeated Penn by scores of 19-25, 26-24, 26-21, and 25-21 as senior LS Alexis Adleta (West Chester, Ohio) and senior RS Teagan Ochaya (Mentor, Ohio) powered the Zips' offense with 13 kills each.
