University of Akron sophomore golfer Jennifer David (Hudson, Ohio) earned medalist honors en route to leading the Akron golf program to its first win of the 2021-22 season. David fired back-to-back 1-over par 73 scores at the 15-team Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown State at Mill Creek Golf Course. She finished the 36-hole event in a three-way tie with 146 (+2) tournament total, which included 23 par scores and six birdies. She ranked second overall in par-4 scoring with a 4.
