Braylon Rayson lead all scorers with 24 points, adding 4 rebounds and 2 assists, as Central Michigan (9-7, 2-1 MAC) knocked off the Akron Zips (13-3, 2-1 MAC), 92-81. Three other Chippewas had double digit points, as Chris Fowler added 20, Rayshawn Simmons had 18 and Luke Meyer with 14 to help the Chippewas to their victory.

Reggie McAdams had 21 points to lead the Zips, but it wasn't enough, as Central Michigan pulled away late in this ball game.
