Akron: Akron earned its program-record 27th win of the season last week with a hard-fought 78-75 win at No. 2 Houston. The Zips have won at least 21 games in 12-straight seasons under 13th-year head coach Keith Dambrot, something only a handful of Division I programs have accomplished. In fact, Akron, Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, and Ohio State are the only programs to post 11-straight 21-win seasons, and of those five teams, Akron (27-8), Gonzaga (34-1), Kansas (29-4), and Duke (28-8) are the only programs to accomplish that feat this year.
