Championship Central BUFFALO, New York – After two days of action at the 2020 MAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, the Akron Zips continue to lead the field with a total of 295 points. In the first event of the evening, Eastern Michigan's Alyssa Shugarman claimed the gold with a 4:44.51 in the 500-yard freestyle. Akron's Sarah Watson defended her title in the 200-yard IM, tapping in 1:57.65. Toni Naccarella successfully defended home turf in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking a 22:48 to give Buffalo their first individual champion of the weekend.
