Cleveland, Ohio - The No. 24 Akron Zips will head to Bloomington, Indiana, to take on the No. 6 Indiana Hoosiers in the second round of the 2016 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. The Zips advanced to the second round after knocking off Villanova, 2-0, in the first round on Thursday night in Akron. Freshman Nick Hinds recorded both goals for Akron. The freshman has scored all four goals in the Zips' last two matches.
The last time Akron and Indiana met was in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. The Zips bested the Hoosiers, 3-2.
