The puck has officially dropped on the 2021-2022 men’s hockey season. Although the MAC doesn’t have its own hockey conference, three of its member schools play ice hockey in hockey specific conferences. Both Western Michigan and Miami are members of the NCHC, while Bowling Green calls the CCHA home.

Miami RedHawks (1-1)

Miami got the show started back on October 2nd with an away game at Ferris State in Big Rapids, MI. After going down 0-1 on early a shorthanded goal, the RedHawks responded just 18 seconds later with a powerplay goal of their own to tie the score at 1-1.
