The 2020 Major League Baseball Draft is here, and though the format is fairly unusual in being only five rounds, there’s still a chance your favorite MAC baseballers could find their ways onto profesional rosters.
2020’s baseball season was ultimately cancelled due to coronavirus concerns, which certainly makes for an intriguing draft filled with prospects who might have otherwise slid getting picked higher, or other prospects staying behind who might have gone pro.
In our projections, we expect five to get good looks at being drafted or picked up by MLB organizations, so this week will prove to be fascinating, especially with the MAC’s recent success in graduating professionals to the Majors.
