After a rough start, where the Ball State Cardinals only managed to win a combined 13 games in coach James Whitford’s first two seasons, they have managed to average 20 over the last three. Last season, the Cardinals won 19, including a thriller against then top 10 Notre Dame. That win may be a precursor of the magic that this season may hold.
While the non-conference schedule has not been released, there are games set against Purdue, Virginia Tech, and Valpo (According to the Muncie Star Press. The schedule has not been released as of this story being published).
