2016-2017 Men’s Basketball Recap: Toledo breaks Loyola-Chicago 74-70

The Toledo Rockets (6-6) won their second game in a row as they fended off the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers (10-3) 74-70 at Savage Arena in Ohio on Tuesday night. Toledo dominated in the first half taking a 41-30 lead. The Ramblers responded in the second half by shooting 52% and coming within two points of the lead with under two minutes left. Unfortunately for the Ramblers, Jonathan Williams had other plans as he drained a three-pointer with 42 seconds left to secure the win for the Rockets.

Jonathan Williams was yet again the difference maker for the Rockets. Williams scored 24 points in the win, dropping three from beyond the arc and shooting 59 percent from the field.
