The Eastern Michigan Eagles got the win that they desperately needed as they cruised to a 74-57 victory on the road against the Miami RedHawks. James Thompson IV had a monster night for Eastern Michigan (13-8, 5-3 MAC) as he had 26 points off of 12-18 shooting and 20 rebounds as the team dominated the glass from start to finish.
Meanwhile, Miami (9-12, 2-6 MAC) struggled mightily as freshman phenom Michael Weathers went 1-8 shooting with five assists and nine turnovers, but brother Marcus stepped up with 14 points and eight boards. Logan McClane led the team with 16 points off of 6-13 from the field.
