Reports of the Buffalo Bulls’ demise have been greatly exaggerated as they took down a very tough Eastern Michigan Eagles team on the road 77-68. The Bulls (7-8, 1-1 MAC) had strong play from their starters as four scored double-figures, with Blake Hamilton dropping 21 points on the day and was a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line, C.J. Massinburg recording a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Nick Perkins wasn’t far behind with 12 points and eight boards. Willie Magnum IV carried the Eagles (9-6, 1-1 MAC) with 17 points off of 3-8 shooting from long range, but they lost the battle on the glass 46-36 against the defending MAC champions.
