After a disappointing loss against Delaware last night, the Miami RedHawks (2-2) got back on track with a 76-70 win over Austin Peay (2-2). While it’s not exactly a program changing win, any win is a good win when your leaning on as many young players as the RedHawks are.
Michael Weathers continued to be a force for the RedHawks with 26 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the game while Abdoulaye Harouna, Rod Mills, and Jake Wright also had double-digit point totals. The Governors had four 10+ point scorers of their own, with Jared Savage leading the charge with 20 points and nine rebounds.
