The Buffalo Bulls (4-5) survived a horrendous start of the game and nearly pulled off the road upset, but it was not to be as the Pittsburgh Panthers (7-2) downed them 84-79 for their second win over a MAC team this season. UB got 55 points out of three players despite the loss and showed a lot of character battling back from a large deficit.
The Bulls got off to an abysmal start to the game as they went 0-10 from three-point range while the Panthers took a 41-18 lead with 6:40 left in the first half. However, UB managed to claw their way back by halftime as the team only trailed 49-37.
