Legendary college football broadcaster Keith Jackson passed away this weekend and fans everywhere mourn 'the voice of college football' while remembering his greatest moments.
Jackson was the man responsible for nicknaming the Rose Bowl as "The Grandaddy of them All" and Michigan Stadium as "The Big House", and was the voice of Desmond Howard's punt return "Hellllooo Heisman". He seemed to be the TV voice of every great Michigan game from the 70's through the 1998 Rose Bowl, when Michigan won the national championship. His broadcast partner that day was Bob Griese, father of Michigan QB and 98 Rose Bowl MVP Brian Griese - a game he called his most memorable moment as a broadcaster.
This video (above and below) takes you through decades worth of great Jackson-called Michigan moments, sure to raise the hair on your arm!
