Malone-Hatcher will remain on scholarship, even though he's not a member of the football team anymore. He will not count against Michigan's 85-man scholarship limit.
Malone-Hatcher was a four-star recruit from St. Joseph, Michigan and was the No. 6 prospect in the state. He was the No. 287 overall player and the No. 20 weak-side DE.
