The Michigan Wolverines already have one of the best 2017 recruiting classes in the country with 26 commits in what currently ranks as a top 5 class. There's one five-star in that group, plus an impressive 17 four-stars. But head coach Jim Harbaugh isn't finished yet and he's still trying to add a few more recruits. Of course, the Michigan class is very close to being complete.
We're taking a look at the three highest rated recruits Michigan could still get a commitment from. Each player has a highlight reel embedded as well. With just a few weeks before National Signing Day on Feb. 1, here are the three best uncommitted recruits that Michigan could still land.
3. 4-Star WR Nico Collins
The first player on the list is the one Michigan has the best chance of landing. The Wolverines are the slight favorite for the No. 104 recruit in the nation, with Georgia and Alabama in the mix. The Wolverines have already landed two really good WRs this cycle and getting Collins would just be an added bonus. The No. 14 WR in the class of 2017 is the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama.
2. 4-Star DT Jay Tufele
Of the three players on this list, Tufele is the least likely. The No. 56 overall recruit is expected to stay in-state at Utah. Despite visiting Michigan in October, Oregon and Ohio State are more likely landing spots in the event Tufele leaves the state. He's the No. 4 defensive tackle and the No. 1 player from the state of Utah.
1. 5-star DT Aubrey Solomon
There is a chance for Michigan, but it doesn't seem all that likely. Solomon took an official visit to Michigan in November, but the Alabama Crimson Tide remain the favorite for the Georgia recruit. Georgia, and potentially USC, are also in the mix too. He's the No. 31 overall recruit in the class of 2017 and the No. 2 defensive tackle. He's the No. 3 recruit from the state of Georgia.
