ANN ARBOR -- After playing a school-record 142 games in a Michigan basketball uniform, Zak Irvin will pull on a Miami Heat jersey in two weeks at the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League.
Irvin has committed to playing with the Heat's Summer League team, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
Irvin will be with Miami from July 7-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. The Michigan senior will hope to earn an invitation to preseason training camp and, ultimately, an NBA contract.
A 6-foot-6 forward, Irvin is coming off a 1,610-point career at Michigan, ranking 13th all-time in program scoring.
