You have to see this powerful dunk from Michigan commit Brandon Johns

There was nothing elaborate about the design of this particular inbounds play. But thanks to Brandon Johns and his Vince Carter-esque leaping ability, the sequence ended with a healthy dose of thunder.

Johns, a 6-foot-8 senior forward from East Lansing High School, went up above the crowd and hammered home the loudest dunk in all of Michigan on Tuesday night.

The alley-oop helped East Lansing to a 74-67 overtime victory over Grand Ledge in a showdown of 11-2 teams. The two clubs also entered play with matching 7-2 marks in the CAAC Blue division.

Johns started slowly with just eight points at the half.
