Three years ago, Moritz Wagner arrived in the United States to play college basketball for Michigan. Two weeks ago, he became a first-round NBA draft pick. And on Sunday he became teammates with the best player in the world.
Growing up in Germany, Wagner's NBA idol was Dirk Nowitzki. But for nearly every basketball player of a certain age, LeBron James is a dribbling deity.
So yeah, the news that James had signed with Wagner's Lakers caught the eye(s) of the former Wolverine:
