Ann Arbor — The word "accountability" gets tossed around quite a bit in football programs.
Michigan players described Tuesday night after practice what exactly that means to coach Jim Harbaugh. They spoke about constructive criticism and thick skin, something they apparently need to have plenty of while breaking down film.
Harbaugh had both the offensive and defensive units watch film from the Wolverines' opening-season 24-17 loss at Utah before breaking out into position groups. The setting provided a chance for coaches and teammates to point out mistakes.
"I think it's giving everybody a sense of accountability," Graham Glasgow, a fifth-year senior center, said Tuesday.
